Job summary

Tender Touch Small Animal Hospital in Redmond, WA is seeking a full-time or part-time Veterinary Assistant. Experienced assistants preferred, but motivated learners welcome to join our client-focused team.

You will assist doctors with restraints, radiographs, and routine care, help with instruments and kennels, answer phones, and maintain a clean, efficient hospital environment. Availability for 2–3 Saturdays per month is desired; reliable transportation is expected.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Excellent attendance with punctuality and reliable transportation.
• Willing to work 2-3 Saturdays in a month.

Responsibilities

• Assist team members and doctors with restraints for blood draws and procedures.
• Assist in taking radiographs (X-rays).
• Clean surgical instruments, prepare packs, run laundry, answer phones, and provide customer service.
• Clean kennels and maintain hospital cleanliness.
