Job summary

Pet Services of Washington, P.S. seeks a Veterinary Assistant at 4197 E Bristol Rd, Oakford, PA 19053. This AAHA-accredited practice has served PA for more than 40 years and is part of the VCA Neshaminy Animal Hospital team.

The position offers $16–$19 per hour, 35–40 hours weekly (Mon–Sat, alternating Fri/Sat), and opportunities for professional growth, CE, NAVTA membership, and generous pet discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience as Veterinary Assistant or Technician in training is welcomed.
• Ability to deliver compassionate client and patient care in a fast-paced clinic.
• Willingness to learn and engage in ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient care and assist veterinary team.
• Educate clients about treatments, medications, and aftercare.
• Assist with lab sample collection and processing.
• Support diagnostic imaging procedures and recordkeeping.
