Compensation ranges from $17.60 to $22.49 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Certificate of completion from a NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Preparedness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians and veterinary technicians during procedures and examinations.
• Maintain a safe and clean clinical environment for pets, clients, and staff.
• Assist in the administration of medications, vaccinations, and treatments.
• Educate clients about pet health and preventive care.
• Assist with clinical record keeping and inventory management.
