Job summary

VCA Sandy Lake Animal Hospital in Coppell, TX is seeking an enthusiastic Veterinary Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time position with 35-40 hours per week and a schedule of five days per week (closed Saturdays).

Qualifications

• Prior veterinary assistant experience preferred.
• Ability to perform routine clinical tasks and assist with procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with venipuncture and catheter placement.
• Support anesthesia monitoring and patient assessments.
• Prepare for and assist in surgeries and dental procedures.
• Perform radiology, lab work, and pharmacy-related tasks.
• Care for hospitalized patients and provide compassionate support.

VCA Sandy Lake Animal Hospital, is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

Schedule: Full-time, 35-40hrs per week, some flexibility in scheduling, will be scheduled 5 days per week (closed Saturdays)
