Job summary

VCA Sandy Lake Animal Hospital in Coppell, TX is seeking an experienced Patient Care Attendant to join our team. This part-time role offers 20-25 hours per week with pay between $17 and $19 per hour.

You will help provide high quality care to boarded and hospitalized pets and support doctors and technicians as needed. We offer benefits and opportunities for growth within the VCA family.

Qualifications

• Experience in pet care and customer service is preferred.
• Ability to follow directions and work well with a team.
• Willingness to assist doctors and technicians as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean cages and hospital areas to maintain cleanliness.
• Feed and care for dogs and cats.
• Walk dogs and bathe them as needed.
• Perform laundry and keep the facility orderly.
• Assist doctors and technicians during procedures and rounds.

The successful candidate will share our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our loyal clientele and the highest quality care to their boarded and hospitalized pets.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning cages.
• Feeding and caring for dogs and cats.
• Walking dogs.
• Bathing dogs.
• Doing laundry.
• Cleaning and maintaining hospital premises.
• Assisting Doctors and Technicians when necessary.
