Cobblestone Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant for a full-time role in a hands-on, collaborative clinic. You will assist with exams, diagnostics, and treatments and support fear-free handling of patients in a busy small-animal practice.

Qualifications

• Veterinary experience is preferred, but training will be provided.
• Washington State Medical Clerk License or willingness to obtain one, with training and reimbursement available.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Reliability and strong attention to detail.
• The ability to multitask in a busy veterinary environment.
• Comfort working with cats and dogs of all sizes.
• The ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• A compassionate approach to patient care.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Assist with exams, diagnostics, and treatments.
• Safely handle and restrain patients using Fear Free techniques.
• Help provide compassionate, attentive care to feline and canine patients.
• Maintain clean, organized exam and treatment areas.
• Document patient care accurately.
• Assist with client communication.
• Provide front desk support as needed.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and fellow support team members to keep the hospital running smoothly.
