Qualifications

• Experience in an animal hospital, shelter, or boarding facility is preferred.
• Strong animal-handling skills are essential.
• Comfort with lifting 40–50 pounds and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Safely restrain dogs and cats for examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Assist veterinarians during wellness visits, diagnostics, treatments, and surgeries.
• Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas for appointments and procedures.
• Maintain clean, stocked patient-care areas and sterilize instruments.
• Care for hospitalized and boarding patients, including feeding and monitoring.
