Qualifications

• Previous experience in an animal hospital, shelter, or boarding facility is preferred.
• Strong animal-handling skills are encouraged.
• Comfort safely handling animals of different sizes and temperaments.
• Excellent communication with pet parents and team members.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely restrain dogs and cats for examinations and procedures.
• Assist veterinarians during wellness visits, diagnostics, treatments, and surgeries.
• Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas for appointments.
• Maintain clean, organized, and stocked patient-care areas.
• Observe patients and monitor vital signs as directed by the medical team.
• Maintain medical records and enter patient notes accurately.
