Bond Vet is hiring a Veterinary Assistant in Boston/Somerville to join our compassionate team. You will support veterinarians and vet techs, assist with procedures, and ensure smooth client visits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a veterinary assistant or kennel assistant.
• Working knowledge of veterinary terminology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask with accuracy and efficiency.
• Strong typing and ability to use multiple computer systems during visits.

Responsabilités

• Scribe for Veterinarians during visits.
• Support medical team with surgeries, x-rays, treatments and other procedures.
• Restrains pets for exams with care and compassion.
• Record and report on patient symptoms.
• Clean, restock and maintain clinic areas and exam rooms.
• Communicate pricing estimates and treatment plans to clients.
• Assist with client interactions, walk-ins, calls, scheduling, and education.
• Perform other duties as assigned by team leaders.
