Qualifications

• Preferred Experience: 1-2 years in a clinical veterinary setting.

• Physical Capability: Lift 20+ lbs. and manage demanding situations.
• Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Certifications: Fear Free or HABRI certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Assisting veterinarians and technicians during routine exams and surgical procedures.
• Monitoring and caring for pets, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Collecting samples and performing diagnostics under supervision.
• Administering prescribed medications, vaccines, and treatments.
• Recording and maintaining patient medical history and inventory logs.
• Preparing rooms for appointments and surgery.
• Educating pet parents on preventive care, nutrition, and behavior.
• Supporting low-stress handling practices during all interactions.
• Assisting with radiographs, dental procedures, and general anesthesia monitoring.
• Maintaining a clean, disease-free environment throughout the center.
