Asheboro Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to help provide outstanding patient care and client service in a fast-paced, multi-doctor setting. The role includes restraining animals during exams, stocking rooms, sterilizing tools, and maintaining equipment.

Ideal candidates will be energetic, team-oriented, with excellent communication skills and a willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends. Prior experience is preferred, and in-person attendance is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have customer service experience.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and assist in examinations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Veterinarians in care of animals, restrain when necessary.
• Stock examination and surgery rooms with supplies and keep tools sterile.
• Communicate with clients and update patient files.
