Qualifications

• Previous professional experience as a Veterinary Assistant in a hospital or clinic is strongly preferred.
• Confident animal-handling and restraint skills with dogs and cats are required.
• Experience in surgery, dentistry, hospitalization, laboratory work, or patient recovery is preferred.
• Willing to support the entire hospital team and adapt in a busy clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and licensed technicians with patient care and clinical workflows.
• Safely handle and restrain dogs, cats, and exotic patients using low-stress techniques.
• Prepare examination rooms, treatment spaces, and equipment for daily appointments.
• Support surgery and dentistry workflows including preparation and recovery assistance.
• Maintain clean, organized treatment areas and accurate patient records.
