Job summary

PetVet Care Centers' Animal Emergency Center in Memphis, Tennessee seeks a Veterinary Assistant to support doctors and technicians with daily tasks, patient care, prep, restraint, and clerical duties. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a veterinary clinic.
• Proficient in drawing blood, placing catheters, and intubating.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients.
• Greet patients and owners and take vitals on arrival.
• Assist veterinarians and technicians with medications and restraint.
• Perform lab tests and radiographs when needed.
• Maintain medical records and proper documentation.
