VCA Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center of Kalamazoo is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our 24/7 ER team at our new state-of-the-art facility in Portage, MI. You will support doctors with exams, histories, and a busy caseload.

VCA Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center of Kalamazoo is now open in our new state of the art facility!

We are a 24/7/365 emergency, critical care and specialty practice, located in Portage, MI and we are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our ER team .

Veterinary Assistant Duties

• Collecting patient histories & physical exams
• Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)
• Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
• Providing compassionate care for all patients

Compensation

$18 - $31 / hour dependent on experience and skill set

In this position you will be supporting our Doctors team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients.
