Germantown Animal Hospital in Germantown, WI is hiring a Veterinary Assistant/CSR Hybrid to join our busy, family‑friendly practice. This full‑time role offers Monday–Friday schedules with no weekends and a chance to grow in clinical skills while delivering compassionate client service.

You’ll work across patient care, radiographs, lab work, and anesthesia support, with on‑site training and a supportive team.

Competenze

2+ years of veterinary hospital experience or current enrollment in a Veterinary Assistant program with clinical training.
Ability to obtain patient histories, monitor vitals, and assist veterinarians.
Strong client service and communication skills.

Mansioni

Obtain patient histories and vitals and assist veterinarians during appointments.
Provide safe, compassionate patient handling and restraint.
Assist with blood draws, lab work, radiographs, and exams.
Prepare patients and equipment for surgical and dental procedures.
Assist with anesthesia monitoring, recovery, and nursing care as trained.
Prepare medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
Educate clients and help them understand their pet’s care and next steps.
Maintain accurate medical records.
Keep treatment and exam areas clean, stocked, and ready.
Jump in to support teammates and keep patient flow moving throughout the day.
