• Prior experience in a veterinary hospital or similar setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and assist doctors during appointments.
• Take client histories and record observations in medical records.
• Educate clients on preventative care and follow-up.
• Perform venipuncture, in-house lab tests, and prepare specimens for outside labs.
• Provide nursing care and monitor medications as directed.
