Job summary

PetVet Care Centers' Midway Veterinary Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky seeks a Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians in daily tasks such as cleaning and maintaining equipment, feeding and grooming patients, and preparing surgery suites. Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to train the right candidate.
• Preferably with veterinary experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and owners, record weight and vital signs.
• Assist doctors and technicians with medications and patient restraint.
• Perform laboratory tests and take radiographs.
• Maintain hospital equipment and cleanliness, including kennels and facilities.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation.
