Qualifications

• NAVTA approved Veterinary Assistant program or equivalent training.

• Must be able to perform NAVTA approved veterinary assistant skills, including radiography.
• One year related experience with customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians to ensure high-quality pet care.
• Educate clients about pet health, preventive care, and hospital services.
• Prepare and perform procedures that do not require veterinarian assistance.
• Maintain clean, sterile treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
• Monitor hospitalized or surgical pets as allowed by state practice acts.
