Mission Pet Health is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our Spring Lake, NC team. You will contribute to patient care, support the veterinary team, and help ensure a positive experience for clients in a well‑established hospital.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with composure.
• Confident handling of pets of all sizes and temperaments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic veterinary skills (lab, pharmacy, nursing, radiology) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Essential Patient Care: assist the medical team with hands-on care for patients.
• Be the Go-To Support for the Medical Team: anticipate needs to ensure smooth workflow.
• Create a Positive Client Experience: assist with scheduling, payments, and communications.
• Ensure a Safe and Clean Environment: maintain hospital and equipment to uphold high care standards.
