Job summary
Riverbark Veterinary Hospital of Spring Lake is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our AAHA-accredited, multi-doctor team in Spring Lake, NC. You will assist with patient care, support the medical team, and help create a positive client experience while maintaining a clean, efficient hospital.
We offer a competitive hourly rate or salary based on experience, on-site scheduling Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–5:30 PM and Saturdays until noon, plus comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental,
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Calm, efficient approach in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident handling of pets of various sizes and temperaments.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency with basic veterinary skills (lab, pharmacy, nursing, radiology) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide essential patient care as part of the medical team.
- Be the go-to support for veterinarians and technicians to maintain workflow.
- Create a positive client experience by assisting with scheduling, payments, and communication.
