Job summary

The Veterinary Assistant at Banfield Pet Hospital supports veterinarians and technicians to ensure safe, high-quality care for pets, clients, and colleagues. This role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety standards, and delivering exceptional service in a busy clinical setting.

You will educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, help maintain clean treatment areas, and mentor other team members while contributing to high-quality preventive care and client education in Raleigh, NC.

Qualifications

  • Certificate of completion from NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to perform NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant skills to aid practice efficiency.
  • Technical skills applied daily within state practice acts and NAVTA guidelines.
