A Day in the Life of a Banfield Veterinary Assistant

Responsibilities

• Providing professional, efficient, and exceptional service to ensure client and pet comfort.
• Using technical skills according to state practice acts and NAVTA guidelines.
• Helping maintain patient flow.
• Communicating with veterinarians and vet techs.
• Setting up procedures that do not require veterinarian or vet tech assistance.
• Keeping treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs clean and organized.
