Veterinary Assistant Position at VCA Callfield Animal Hospital

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team at VCA Callfield Animal Hospital in Wichita Falls, Texas!

The successful candidate will believe in the possibilities of gold standard veterinary medicine and patient care, with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen.

In this position, you will support our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Duties include but are not limited to:

1. Maintaining medical records.
2. Preparing surgical suite and surgical patients.
3. Filling prescriptions.
4. Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
5. Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for boarded and hospitalized pets.
