VCA Amor Animal Hospital in West Jordan, UT is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join full-time. Pay is $16.00–$21.00 per hour, based on experience, with duties including assisting in exams, taking histories, lab work, imaging, and maintaining records.

You will support doctors and technicians in a low-stress environment, deliver compassionate care, and help keep the hospital clean and safe. Growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package are available.

Qualifications

• Restraint and assisting in patient exams and routine procedures.
• Taking detailed medical histories and patient vitals.
• Filling prescriptions (as allowed by law).
• Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
• Providing compassionate care for our hospitalized animals.
• Maintaining medical records.
• Assisting our Doctor and Technician staff as needed.
• Maintaining a clean, safe hospital environment.

Location: West Jordan, UT

Full-Time

Pay: $16.00- 21.00/hr depending on experience

As a member of the VCA team, you will support the Technician and Doctor teams by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Your mission will be to win the confidence of every pet parent-by delivering an outstanding client experience-so we can provide exceptional care to every patient.
