VCA Timpanogos Animal Hospital in Utah is seeking a friendly Veterinary Assistant to join the team as a full-time member of our doctor and technician staff. You will help provide an outstanding client and patient experience while supporting exams, procedures, and daily hospital operations.

Pay ranges from $16.50 to $20.00 per hour, with 40 hours per week and opportunities to grow through continuing education and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting in veterinary exams and procedures.
• Ability to take medical histories and vitals from clients and patients.
• Capable of recording accurate medical records and observations.
• Comfort with medication handling and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Restrain and assist in patient exams and routine procedures.
• Take detailed medical histories and patient vitals.
• Fill prescriptions (as allowed by law).
• Perform laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
• Provide compassionate care for hospitalized animals.
• Maintain medical records accurately.
• Assist Doctor and Technician staff as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe hospital environment.

VCA Timpanogos Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join the team!
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Pay: $16.50 - 20.00/hr
As a member of the VCA team, you will support the Technician and Doctor teams by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Your mission will be to win the confidence of every pet parent—by delivering an outstanding client experience—so we can provide exceptional care to every patient. The skills that will be utilized include, but are not limited to:

• Restraining and assisting in patient exams and routine procedures.
• Taking detailed medical histories and patient vitals.
• Filling prescriptions (as allowed by law).
• Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
• Providing compassionate care for our hospitalized animals.
• Maintaining medical records.
• Assisting our wonderful Doctor and Technician staff as needed.
• Maintaining a clean, safe hospital environment.
