VCA Forest South Animal Hospital is looking to expand its team with a Veterinary Assistant!

Who We Are:

VCA Forest South is a multi-doctor hospital offering full services for small, exotic, and avian animals, including boarding and grooming. We have a wide range of services including, but not limited to, Orthopedics, Reproduction, Chemotherapeutic Administration, Laser Therapy, Internal Medicine, Dentistry, Soft Tissue Surgery, and other routine surgeries. VCA Forest South is equipped with up-to-date diagnostic tools such as an in-house lab, ultrasound, and digital radiography equipment.

What our Veterinary Assistants do each day:

• Providing support to the entire veterinary hospital staff
• Ensuring a clean, comfortable environment for patients and clients
• Keeping treatment areas and exam rooms fully stocked
• Restraining animals during examinations or vaccinations
• Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Sterilizing equipment
• Observing patients for signs of health concerns and reporting findings to senior staff

Schedule: Full-time opportunities are available with flexible shift schedules.

Compensation: Pay range is $18 - $20/hr, determined by skill set and experience.
