Seeking a Veterinary Assistant Part Time!

Location: 2703 Caton Hill Rd, Woodbridge, VA 22192

Pay: The salary for this role starts at $17/hr and is based on experience. Extra consideration will be given to emergency veterinary assistant experience.

VCA Woodbridge Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team in the ICU department, where you’ll play a vital role in triage and the care of hospitalized patients.

About the Role

As Veterinary Assistant, you will help create and maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients and clients. Duties will include:

• Compassionate patient care

• Lab sample collection and processing
• Medication preparation and administration
• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
• Medical recordkeeping
