Job Description Summary:

Preferred Education/Licenses:

Certificate from a NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program or equivalent education, training, and experience. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Preferred Experience:

Ability to perform all required skills of NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant programs efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining patient flow
• Communicate with veterinarians and vet techs
• Set up procedures that do not require veterinarian or vet tech assistance
• Ensure safety and cleanliness in treatment areas
• Educate clients about wellness plans and preventive care
• Mentor other team members
