Job summary

VCA Northside Animal Hospital in San Bernardino, CA is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to support our Doctors and tech team. You will help maintain medical records, room clients, and assist with exams and procedures.

Key duties include injections, blood draws, IV catheters, imaging, and lab work. You will also fill prescriptions, provide compassionate care, and help boarded or hospitalized pets feel at home.

Job description

VCA Northside Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team.

Location:

1775 NorthPark Blvd W, Suite B-1, San Bernardino, CA 92407

Salary:

$18 - 22 per hour

Schedule:

Full-Time

In this position, you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Duties will include:

• Maintaining medical records.
• Rooming clients/patients and getting a brief history
• Filling prescriptions.
• Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
• Giving injections, blood draws, placing IV catheters, toenail trims, anal gland expression, and other treatments.
• Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for boarded and hospitalized pets.
