Douglas Boulevard Veterinary Clinic is looking for an experienced veterinary assistant to join our team! Our veterinary assistants are utilized to their fullest potential and work in all areas of the hospital. We provide a challenging and supportive environment which practices excellent quality medicine and even better patient and client care. Responsibilities :

• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
• Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring
• Diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy and sample collection, and in-house lab work
• Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff.
• Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions.

The salary range for this position is $18-$22 / hr. Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience. The actual rate offered will carefully consider your skills, qualifications, and experience.
