- Cross-trained or willing to cross-train.

We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our close-knit team, which includes 3 doctors and a dedicated support staff. As a Veterinary Assistant at Loudoun Veterinary Service, you'll be an essential part of our team. Your role will include direct patient care, anesthesia monitoring, and assisting with a variety of surgical procedures. We're looking for an assistant who enjoys a mix of surgery, and client interaction.
- 1–2+ years of veterinary experience preferred
- Reliable with minimal callouts
- Surgery trained preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
- Experienced with blood draws and lab equipment
- Comfortable safely restraining both cats and dogs
- Cross-trained or willing to cross-train (plus)
- Professional, team-oriented, and drama-free
- Eager to learn, grow, and expand skills
- Work-Life Balance: No weekends required, with a 4-day workweek and guaranteed 35+ hours/week.
