Job summary

Enterprise Animal Hospital is seeking a veterinary assistant to join our team. You will work alongside doctors and other assistants on routine visits, surgeries, and farm calls. The role follows a patient from intake to exam, includes lab work and invoicing, and ends with aftercare guidance for owners.

Daily clinic maintenance and cleaning are also part of the job. We welcome someone with strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and the ability to multitask under pressure.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal skills with customer service and client communication.
• Professionalism in the clinic environment, including client and patient interactions.
• Multitask while being able to prioritize duties.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow through.
• Work well under pressure, team player with support staff and doctors.
• Self-motivated, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willing to work at least one Saturday a month.
• No prior experience required; willingness to learn and grow in veterinary care.

Responsibilities

• Follow a patient from intake to exam room and assist with routine visits and surgeries.

Work side by side with the doctors and other assistants with routine visits, complicated cases, surgeries, and farm calls. As an assistant you’ll follow a patient from intake to the exam room, completing laboratory diagnostic work, to finishing the visit by invoicing and helping direct owners on aftercare at home. The position also includes daily maintenance and cleaning duties associated with a busy clinic. As a mixed animal practice there is always something new and exciting going on! The right individual will meet the following requirements:
