Ridgeville Animal Hospital is Hiring a Veterinary Assistant!

Role Details

Role: Veterinary Assistant

Status: Full-Time

Schedule: Four-day workweeks with rotating Saturdays (8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.)

What You’ll Do
  • Safely handle and restrain patients during examinations and procedures
  • Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatments
  • Obtain diagnostics including radiographs, phlebotomy, sample collection, and in-house laboratory testing
  • Support preventative care and vaccine appointments
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records
  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and team members
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment
  • Assist with hospitalized patient care and daily treatment support
