About Us: Mount Airy Veterinary Associates is a leading small animal veterinary practice located in the picturesque town of Mount Airy, Maryland. With over 20 years of dedicated service, our clinic has become a trusted resource for exceptional veterinary care. We are passionate about providing high-quality care for a range of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and other pocket pets.

The Role: We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Veterinary Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with our veterinarians to deliver outstanding care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include client communication and education, animal handling, sample collection and preparation, medical record management, and light janitorial duties.

• Scrub Allowance: Eligible on 1st day
• Paid Holidays: 6 Paid Holidays (Eligible on 1st day)
• Paid Time Time 40 hours first year (accrued)
• Health Insurance: (medical, dental, vision): Single and Family, 1st of the month after 60 days of employment
• Supplemental Insurance:(e.g. life insurance, critical illness, etc.) 1st of the month after 60 days of employment
