Job summary

Springhurst Animal Hospital in Louisville, KY is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team. We serve dogs, cats, and exotic species, and use digital x-ray, ultrasound, CO2 laser, acupuncture, and laser therapy to deliver high-quality care.

You will support veterinarians and technicians, restrain animals safely, maintain medical records, and communicate with clients. The role requires excellent teamwork, strong communication, and a calm demeanor in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a veterinary or animal care setting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude and commitment to patient care.
• Ability to work well in a team and stay calm under stress.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and technicians in treatments, diagnostics, and procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Assist veterinarians and technicians in providing medical treatments, diagnostics, and procedures
