Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and work with veterinary technicians and assistants to aid in patient care and treatments.
• Safely restrain dogs, cats, and other small animals/exotics for examinations and procedures.
• Prepare examination rooms and treatment areas.
• Obtain patient histories and assist with client communication.
• Monitor and care for hospitalized patients.
• Assist with laboratory sample collection and processing.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians.
• Prepare patients for surgery and assist with surgical procedures as needed.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain hospital equipment and facilities.
• Stock supplies and maintain inventory levels.
• Support reception and client service functions when needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment logs.

• Comfortable working around animals, cleaning chemicals, and medical equipment

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday 7:55am - 6:00pm (With a scheduled day off during the week)
• Rotating Saturdays 7:55am - 12:00pm
