Veterinary Assistant, Small Animal Clinic

Cobblestone Animal Hospital - Issaquah Washington

$20.00 - $25.00 / hour | Full-Time or Part-Time | Monday-Saturday 10-hour shifts

We’re seeking a Veterinary Assistant to add to our team. You will play a vital role in supporting our veterinarians while helping ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for patients and their families. We are located immediately next to Issaquah Creek and enjoy a very pleasant clinic environment and view!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient exams, treatments and diagnostics

• Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately

• Maintain clean and organized exam and treatment areas

• Accurately document patient care and assist with client communications.

• Provide back-up support for front-of-clinic as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience at a previous veterinary clinic preferred, on-site training available

• Current Washington State Medical Clerk Licensure encouraged

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Comfortable working with cats and dogs of all sizes and temperaments, utilizing Fear Free guidelines

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently
