Best Friends Animal Hospital is looking for an entry-level Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team! This is an excellent position for candidates with foundational training who are looking to grow their career in veterinary medicine.
In this role, you will provide assistance to Veterinary Technicians and Veterinarians, including gentle animal handling and restraint during outpatient procedures such as physical exams, vaccines, and blood draws. You will prepare and clean patient areas throughout the day, including exam rooms and procedural/treatment areas, anticipating team needs and ensuring preparedness and efficiency. This is an ideal position for efficient multitaskers who enjoy a supportive role in a team-oriented environment!
This is a flexible full-time position, 4-10s with rotating half-day Saturdays.

Our clinic currently features three exam rooms, and with growth plans underway, we look forward to welcoming at least one additional DVM and expanding our exam room capacity to better support the needs of our community.
