As a busy, well‑established single‑doctor practice, you’ll work closely with Dr. Bell and gain hands‑on experience in nearly every aspect of veterinary medicine. Every day brings something different, and you’ll have the opportunity to learn skills that will serve you throughout your career.

What You’ll Do

As a Veterinary Assistant, you’ll help keep our hospital running smoothly while providing compassionate care to our patients and outstanding service to their families. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the veterinarian with patient care and medical procedures
• Safely handling and restraining dogs and cats
• Preparing exam rooms and treatment areas
• Caring for hospitalized patients
• Administering treatments and medications as directed
• Maintaining accurate medical records
• Supporting clients with education and exceptional customer service
• Cleaning, stocking, and maintaining a safe, organized hospital
• Pitching in wherever needed to keep the day running efficiently
