Bell Veterinary Hospital in Haleyville, Alabama is seeking a dependable Veterinary Assistant to join our practice. You’ll work closely with Dr. Bell to gain hands-on experience in many aspects of veterinary medicine and contribute to compassionate patient care and client service.

What You'll Do

As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll help keep our hospital running smoothly while providing compassionate care to our patients and outstanding service to their families. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the veterinarian with patient care and medical procedures
• Safely handling and restraining dogs and cats
• Preparing exam rooms and treatment areas
• Caring for hospitalized patients
• Administering treatments and medications as directed
• Maintaining accurate medical records
• Supporting clients with education and exceptional customer service
• Cleaning, stocking, and maintaining a safe, organized hospital
• Pitching in wherever needed to keep the day running efficiently
