Job summary

Greenville Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our caring team. This part-time role focuses on supporting veterinarians, preparing exam rooms, and delivering compassionate patient care in a busy clinic.

You’ll enjoy a schedule that avoids nights and major holidays, with rotating Saturday shifts ending at 1:00 p.m. and every other weekend off, plus opportunities for professional growth and a friendly, collaborative work culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a veterinary setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians and clinical team in patient care.
• Assist with examinations, treatments, and daily procedures.
• Safely restrain and handle patients.
• Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and treatment areas.
• Record and maintain patient information accurately.

What Our Veterinary Assistants Do

• Support veterinarians and the clinical team in providing compassionate patient care
• Assist with examinations, treatments, and day-to-day clinical procedures
• Safely and compassionately handle and restrain patients

• Assist with patient care before, during, and after treatments
