Job summary

Greenville Veterinary Clinic is seeking a part-time Veterinary Assistant to join our compassionate team. You’ll support veterinarians, prepare exam rooms, and help with exams and day-to-day clinical procedures while maintaining a caring, client-focused approach.

We offer a schedule with no nights or holidays, rotating Saturday shifts 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., every other weekend off, and a range of benefits and professional growth opportunities.

What You’ll Do

• Support veterinarians and the clinical team in providing compassionate patient care
• Assist with examinations, treatments, and day‑to‑day clinical procedures
• Safely and compassionately handle and restrain patients
• Prepare patients, exam rooms, and treatment areas for appointments and procedures
• Assist with patient care before, during, and after treatments
• Support the team with diagnostic and clinical procedures as directed
• Monitor patients and communicate changes or concerns to the veterinary team
• Maintain accurate and organized patient information
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and fellow team members
• Help maintain clean, organized, and well‑stocked clinical areas
• Follow hospital protocols and established standards of patient care
• Collaborate with the entire veterinary team to maintain an efficient workflow
