Location: 5669 Duluth Street, Golden Valley, MN 55422

About VCA All About Pets Animal Hospital:

Our AHAA-accredited hospital focuses on preventative care, routine wellness exams, and client education to ensure pets receive the best possible medical attention.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Answering phones and scheduling appointments.
• Assist veterinarians and technicians during patient exams and treatments.
• Handle and restrain animals safely and appropriately.
• Obtain patient histories and update medical records.
• Educate clients on general pet care, vaccines, and preventative medicine.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment.
• Prepare and administer medications under veterinary supervision.
• Support with laboratory sample collection, x-rays, and other diagnostic testing.
• Assist in handling prescription medications and refills per veterinary instructions.
• Provide compassionate and professional client communication.

Compensation:$ 17 - 25 /hr

Starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field. Financial growth opportunities are available.

Schedule: Full-Time opportunity.

QUALIFICATIONS
