Job summary

California Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support doctors and technicians in a fast-paced environment. You will assist with procedures, pre- and post-operative care, and a variety of patient services while upholding compassionate client communication.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of veterinary or medical experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to multitask and stay organized.

Qualifications

• 1+ year veterinary or human medical experience preferred.
• Comfortable using computers (EMR systems, email, basic programs).
• Strong technical and clinical skills.
• Excellent communication with clients and team members.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Able to lift/restrain pets up to 40 lbs and be on your feet throughout the day.

Compensation
