AmeriVet in Gainesville, GA is seeking a veterinary assistant to join our emergency team. You will support veterinarians and licensed technicians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures, handle patients safely, collect samples, and maintain medical records.

The role requires at least 1 year as a veterinary assistant; emergency/critical care experience is preferred. Flexible schedule including overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Educate clients on pet care, treatment plans, and discharge instructions as appropriate.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overnights, weekends, and holidays.
