East El Paso Animal Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Assistant to join our team. We are dedicated to providing top-notch care for pets and other animals in a state-of-the-art facility featuring CT, ultrasound, and endoscope capabilities.

You will assist veterinarians and technicians, handle animals during exams, maintain medical records, and help clients with care plans while upholding a welcoming environment for pets and people alike.

Qualifications

• Experience in veterinary or animal care is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude and commitment to patient care.
• Ability to work well in a team and stay calm in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and technicians in medical treatments, diagnostics, and procedures.
• Safely handle and restrain animals during examinations and procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with client communication.
• Provide compassionate care and support to clients.

Our state-of-the-art facility offers innovative diagnostic equipment such as CT, ultrasound and endoscope, allowing opportunities to enhance your medical knowledge and further develop your skills as a veterinary professional. What You’ll Do:

• Assist veterinarians and technicians in providing medical treatments, diagnostics, and procedures
