Cherry Valley Veterinary Hospital is growing! With an experienced new doctor joining our team, we are expanding our services to include Saturday and Sunday urgent care hours and are looking for a versatile Veterinary Assistant/Client Service Representative to grow with us.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants to expand their Veterinary Assistant skills while gaining experience in client service. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to utilize their skills across urgent care, outpatient care, patient handling, diagnostics, treatment support, and client communication. Our ideal candidate is dependable, motivated, and able to remain calm and organized while supporting a variety of urgent and same-day patient needs.
As our team and services continue to grow, this position offers the opportunity to play an important role in building and supporting our new weekend urgent care program while growing and developing your VA skills.
In this position, you will take an active role in:
Assisting the team during exams, treatments, and procedures
Providing safe, gentle patient handling and restraint
Maintaining clean, organized, and fully prepared exam rooms, treatment areas, and procedural spaces
Schedule and compensation:
Compensation:$22 - 25 per hour for each hour worked,plus a $2per hour weekend differential for hours worked Saturday and Sunday.
This is a part-time or full-time position, with 10-hour shifts and availability needed Saturday and Sunday.

This is a good-faith estimate based on the role's requirements at the time of posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Company offers a comprehensive benefits package that may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, vacation, sick leave, 401(k), and other benefits depending on role and location.
