Animal Emergency Clinic of the Hudson Valley is seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Assistant to join our team. Located in Kingston, NY, we are a community-supported, exclusively emergency veterinary clinic equipped with advanced technology including cardiac monitoring, in-house laboratory, ultrasound, and dedicated support staff.

Responsibilities

• Executing treatment orders
• Performing blood draws and collecting urine samples
• Administering medications via various routes
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of cages
• Walking, feeding, and caring for animals
• Performing outpatient procedures and restraining animals
• Filling prescriptions and creating dosing schedules
• Communicating with clients in person and via phone
