Elm Creek Animal Hospital looking for a Veterinary Assistant to become a part of our team! Our Veterinary Assistants are essential in ensuring excellent patient care, whether it is during outpatient visits or surgical procedures. Their responsibilities include coordinating and implementing treatment plans, assisting during examinations, preparing animals for surgery, and collaborating with our doctors to carry out procedures. Furthermore, they offer comprehensive client education and address inquiries with professionalism and empathy.

This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy engaging with clients and maintaining an organized workflow in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position, with a 4/10s schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday with rotating weekends.

Full-time benefits and compensation**:

• Compensation: $20-$24 per hour, for each hour worked*
• Bonus package: $500 for those with 3+ years of consecutive, current VA experience
