The hourly pay rate for this position is $18.00 - $25.00, depending on experience, education, licensure, and certifications.
Join our incredible team at Veterinary Medical Center of Woodland Hills as the next step in your career. We are looking to add a full-time Veterinary Assistant to our team. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, detail-oriented team player who loves animals and is part of a fun, supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients, a willingness to learn and expand their career, knowledge of equipment used, drawing blood and running bloodwork, knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning, experience with proper animal handling and restraint, understanding the importance of client education, and being a positive and supportive team member.

Qualifications
Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant.
Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred – or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements.
Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.
Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines.
Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records.
Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
